When we made the decision to add a patio, we contacted several providers. Our friends had used Robyn’s Original Landscapes, Inc. so we included them to get an estimate. From the very beginning, the difference between Robyn and Jon and the other providers was startling. While the others just came out, looked at the property, and suggested a standard rectangular patio, ROL took the time to understand what we were looking for, studied the area, and came back with a design that wowed us.
Right away we knew that if we were going to make an investment like this in our property, we wanted Robyn and Jon to be the ones to make it happen.
We worked very closely with them on finalizing the design. They took into consideration our budget and the effect we were looking for. Robyn was very patient in learning what our tastes were in plants and shrubs.
While we were pleased with the design, what impressed us most was the pride they took in the installation. The meticulous manner in which they approach their work demonstrated that they were not merely installers but rather true craftsman. At times we would notice that Jon would agonize over a particular cut of stone, while Robyn rearranged the placement of plants and shrubs a number of times until it was just right.
Of course, the real determining factor is after the project is completed. We were amazed at the result and have received rave reviews from our family and friends. We have had people who have visited our house several times continue to comment on what a great addition the patio and landscaping has made to our property.
Needless to say, we are extremely pleased with ROL and would recommend them to anyone who is interested.
