New England Blue Flagstone Patio

New England Blue Flagstone Patio with Redwood Pergola and Alaskan Grey Retaining Walls

Mixed Pattern Natural Cleft Flagstone is installed here on a 45 degree angle, having rich, full colors ranging from silvers and blues to hues of plum and gold. Surrounding the iron dining table and chairs is an 18 inch high retaining wall built with MSI Alaskan Grey Quartzite, offering plenty of seating for extra guests.

Before

Finding the “FUN” in dysfunctional spaces is what we do best.

After

Rough cut beams are hewn from California Redwood to create this custom-built patio cover, which provides filtered shade

In the background, lively water cascades over Black Canyon Onyx boulders and large Irregular Blue Flagstone slabs into a reservoir hidden under this striking Turquoise and Ocean Blue Fire Glass to create a pondless feature.

After 40 years the original hot tub which sat at the top of the curved stairs had seen better days. We converted this into a triple ring gas firepit that can now be enjoyed from the new hot tub.

A grassy area remains in the center of the flower garden with random pieces of flagstone creating a path to reach the far side of the house.
